D for doggy’s doo-doo

I was thinking about the letter D just now and realised that any word which starts with this letter is doomed to more than 75% possibility of containing a negative meaning.

For example: Death, destruction, desolate, dire, dread, dreary, dark, depressing, doleful, doom, drown, drop, dip, dick, dungeon, dung, dent, duh, diss, dismiss, disdain, drone, dull, dim….and so on.

Not to forget the assortment of swear words as well: Doggone! Damn. Darn! Dang.

This provides the perfect setting for a violent, rage-filled poem, written entirely in words that begin with D. An angsty counterpart of Sally Sells Seashells By The Seashore!
